Competition chambered revolver firearm - has barrel axis lowered to that of lowest chamber, minimising lift on discharge

The competition revolver has the usual barrel and rotating type chamber. The axis of the barrel (4) is placed in the axis of the lower part of the chamber. This places the barrel low relative to the user's hand and reduces lifting of the firearm on discharge. The revolver has the usual grip (10), trigger (11) and cock(8). The hind sight (2) is fitted to an extension of the hand grip and the fore sight (1) on a frame holding barrel and chamber and with openings for spindle access.
