PURPOSE:To facilitate operation of the seat of car, by enabling the adjustment to the height of the seat at a touch without changing its tilt, with a motorist remaining in taking his seat. CONSTITUTION:The front and the rear parts of a seat cushion frame 28 are fitted in parallel with a base board 13 by rising-and-falling links 19 and 20, freely ascending and descending. A gearing link 29 is provided pivotally free with the rising-and- falling link 19 on the front side. The rising-and-falling link 20 on the rear side is connected with the gearing link 29 by an inter-locking link 32. As a locking member 41 is fixed to the seat cushion frame 28, an interlinking member 36 provided with the gearing link 29 is linked either with the rising-and-falling link 19 on the upper side or with the locking member 41. The rising-and-falling link 19 on the front side is pivoted by an operating part 50. |
