Auxiliary units are each respectively driven by an electric motor, which is fed by a generator, which is in turn coupled to a turbine driven by the exhaust gases of the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine may be supercharged by a compressor, which is driven by an electric motor connected to the generator.
