The feed automatically changes machine tools on vertical or horizontal axes. It comprises an incrementally revolving table magazine. It uses jacks for reciprocal vertical displacement of perimeter segments upon which the tools are mounted. A telescopic height adjustable column has an upper section of a top hat section locating a rotatable sleeve with radial flanges at the head and foot. Rails mounted between the flanges guide radially cantilevering segments during vertical displacements by the jacks. The segments cantilever in steps to provide emplacements for the tips of jack piston rods and for the tools.
