The invention relates to a drive mechanism for the remote adjustment of colour zones on printers, the drive mechanism being arranged in a remote control console. Starting from the objective of providing a drive mechanism with types of drive which reduce the expenditure on operation and have a high adjustment accuracy and low expenditure on control can be realised, a mode of operation change-over switch which realises the following modes of operation, measuring, overall adjustment of the actuation drives at increased speed, group adjustment at increased speed and individual adjustment at normal and increased speed, a pulse-sequence amplifier for all the actuation drives, an overall/group drive element, drive elements/adjustment element and an analogue measuring device and a digital measuring device, assigned to the control system of the drive mechanism and the printing unit change-over switch which is assigned to each printing unit of the printer is constructed as a double contact switch which in each case connects the current feed line of the connection of relays of the printing units to earth potential and in each case connects the potentiometer-position sensors of the printing units to the measuring operation voltage. |
