PURPOSE:To secure a selective selection between an ordinary broadcast and a weather forecast broadcast, by providing a selecting circuit to a prescribed channel among plural channels to ensure a selective reception between an ordinary broadcast and the P.S.B. of weather forecast. CONSTITUTION:A quartz oscillator is inserted by an automatic or manual way and among the 1st-5th channels to receive an ordinary broadcast, and an ordinary broadcast or a weather forecast broadcast of the VHF(H) or VHF(L) band through the 6th channel. When receiving an ordinary broadcast of the VHF(H) band, a pin-type oscillator X2 is put into the receiving terminals 9 and 11 of a socket SO. In this case, the transistors (TR) Q4-Q7 are turned off and with no operation given to the circuit of weather forecast. In the case of an ordinary broadcast of the VHF(L) band, the oscillator X3 is inserted into the receiving terminals 11 and 13. A weather broadcast of waves A, B and C can be received by inserting an oscillator into the terminals 9-13 neither, inserting a plug 14 into a receiving terminal 10 and inserting the plug into the receiving terminal 12 respectively. |
