The chambers immediately adjacent to the strip ends of a spring strip connector consisting of an upper part and a lower part are produced as blind chambers in posts which project from the lower part of the strip and hold the upper part of the strip between them, so that the posts do not impede the strip being plugged onto a panel of wrapped pins.
