PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive waterproof coaxial receptacle connector surely preventing water penetration into a case. SOLUTION: A waterproof coaxial receptacle connector formed of highly elastic and low rigid material is provided with a waterproofing insulator 20 compressed by the outer circumferential of a socket contact 30 and the inner circumferential of a shell 10. In the waterproofing insulator 20, a small diameter part 21a, to which a socket 32 in the socket contact 30 is forcibly inserted, is formed. When the diameter of the small diameter part 21a is represented by ϕB while that of the socket 32 is represented by ϕA, a relation ϕB<ϕA is accomplished between them. In the inner circumference of the shell 10, a waterproofing insulator housing 15, into which the waterproofing insulator 20 is forcibly inserted, is formed. When the diameter of the waterproofing insulator housing 15 is represented by ϕa while that of the waterproofing insulator 20 is represented by ϕc, a relation ϕa<ϕc is accomplished between them. |
