PURPOSE:To supply the toner simply and surely, by providing a projecting part at the tip of the cartridge of which projecting part is engaged in a guide groove of a developing device at the time of insertion of cartridge and is disengaged from the guide groove at the completion of insertion to make the cartridge rotatable. CONSTITUTION:Projection 15 is provided at the tip of cylinder body 10 of the toner cartridge. The seal fixed to toner cartridge aperture 11 is torn off, and the projection is inserted to guide groove 17 of toner cartridge storing part 1a. The guide groove has such length that the projection is disengaged from the guide groove when the cartridge is inserted up to the deepest part. When the knob provided in the cartridge is turned after inserting it to the deepest part, the cartridge is rotated and is brought into contact with stopper 18 provided in the cartridge storing part and is stopped. The magnetic toner is supplied from the aperture into the developing device. |
