<p>The rear support frame for a tractor cab has a hollow section cross member braced between the mudguards, and housing the fuel tank in a crush proof mounting. The cross member is welded to the side frame and braces the frame laterally when rolled. The cross member has widening sections at the joins to the sideframes, for added support. The fuel tank is a moulded container held inside the frame by press studs through holes in the crossmember. The top of the tank is linked to a cover on the floor of the tractor, and with protected fuel lines through the cover.</p> |
