The electrode device includes a screw thread to be implanted in the human body such as in the case of a heart pacemaker. It derives signals from the body via the electrode screwed into the heart. It is connected to a supply lead, which consists of a conductor and an insulation sleeve and a plug for connection to an implanted heart pacemaker. It has a coiled wire (1) at one end with a stop limiting its angular displacement. The stop consists of a section (3) in the form of a threaded pin inside the head of the electrode. It is made from a material impervious to X-rays.
