<p>The nodal units are esp. for joining rod profile pieces together in frameworks for ceilings and ornamental structures, as in exhibition stands, or for other scaffolding-type frames. Turning plug units (6) are continuously adjustable for angle where they are fastened at the connecting nodal point centre piece (1-3), and can be twisted and slid along on their mountings, where connection is effected. Centre pieces pref. consist of two or more pieces joined together. They may consist of several plates screwed together. Plug units are pref. spherical in shape at one end, and may have a spring-loaded sliding piece safeguarding against twisting. Ceilings of any shape can be easily assembled, with simple provision for adjustment.</p> |
