PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform linear irradiation light, by receiving irradiation lights of plural light emitting diodes by one ends of plural optical fibers and by arranging the other ends on a line. CONSTITUTION:The P layer is diffused on the surface of N type semiconductor substrate 1 to form light emitting parts 1a, 1b and 1c in a line, and light emitting parts 2a, 2b and 2c are formed on another N type semiconductor substrate 2 adjacent to substrate 1 by the same means. Respective light receiving parts 4a of optical fibers 4 are arranged near respective light emitting parts, and irradiating parts 4b at the other ends are arranged at equal internals in a line more closely in comparison with the interval of respective light emitting parts, thus obtaining a uniform irradiation light in the longitudinal direction. If condensing fibers are used as these fibers, lights emitted from light emitting parts can be expanded, contracted, or focused. |
