1. Couch/bed furniture with two cushion sections which can be used alternatively as a couch or as a bed, in which the rear upper edge of the seating cushion (2) is detachably connected to the lower edge of a backrest cushion (3, 4) that is reduced by the seating depth, whereby the seating cushion (2) can be pulled out to one side on a bottom frame and is propped up in the pulled-out position, the bottom frame has a support frame to receive the backrest cushion (3, 4) in the pulled-out position and the seating cushion (2) is connected on both sides to the bottom frame by means of generally common hinges or snap-open fittings, whose hinged parts are attached to the frame of the seating cushion (2) and are arranged in such a way that they can slide in rails on the bottom frame, on each side of the seating cushion (2) an armrest (5, 6) is detachably attached and the backrest cushion (3, 4) is split in the middle and equal to the length of the seating cushion (2), characterized in that the bed length corresponds to the length of the seating cushion (2) plus the length of one of the backrest cushions (3, 4), that the backrest cushions (3, 4) in the sitting position are slanted for leaning against, that their greatest thickness in the bed position reaches down to the greatest depth of the support frame and that they rest against the upper crosswise frame of the box for bedding (1) when they are placed in the bed position. |
