PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of the leakage of flushing water by providing one air flow intake to a cover part, opposing to a center shaft side, from the top circumference of the back surface of a conic rotor. CONSTITUTION:A liquid to be measured is dripped on sample base 1, which is set in cover member 10' for the measurement of viscosity. Then, electromagnetic operating relay 23 is driven under the command of a programmer 22 to set up a contact liquid part 30' which performs flushing after the measurement of viscosity and to hold flushing control part 24 in readiness with solenoid value 17 open and solenoid valves 19, 20 and 28 closed. Therefore, a prescribed amount of flushing water equivalent to the capacity of the 2nd tank 18 is stored in the 1st tank 16. After a contact liquid part 30' is closed tightly as a preparation for flushing, start switch 21 of flushing control part 24 is operated to start automatic flushing. Then, solenoid valve 17 is closed to stop the supply of flushing water to the 2nd tank 18 and at the same time, solenoid valves 19, 20 and 28 are opened to apply air pressure to the 2nd tank 18 the solenoid valve 19, thereby supplying the air pressure to the contact liquid part 30' as well. |
