PURPOSE:To measure indexing errors during driving easily and with high accuracy by measuring the indexing errors in the respective displacement positions between two driving bodies. CONSTITUTION:A work table 11 which is revolving at low speeds and a hob shaft 21 which is revolving at high speeds are driven at a prescribed angular ratio. The output of a rotary encoder 12 mounted to the revolving shaft of the table 11 is converted to the analog voltage proportional to angular speed fluctuations in an FV converter 14. Also, the output of a rotary encoder 22 mounted to the shaft 21 is detected 23 as the pulse train 23A fluctuating at a period ti with respect to time (t). A dynamic indexing error measuring device 31 triggered by the pulse train 23A arithmetically processes the angular speed fluctuating wave 19A thereby obtaining the indexing errors between the table 11 and the shaft 21. |
