A photodeflector suitable for a scanning device which comprises a plurality of groups of mirrors [3] rotatable around an axis [4], each of said groups consisting of the same number of mirrors [3] and each of said mirrors of a group [3a, 3b] being disposed so that their surfaces are inclined at the same angle in relation to said rotation axis [4] and so that the surfaces of mirrors of a given group [3a, 3b] are at a different angle in relation to said rotation axis [4] to the surfaces of mirrors of the other group or groups.
