<p>Disclosed are novel organic pigments adapted particularly for use in paper coatings. The organic pigments are finely divided particles obtained by graft copolymerizing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, such as styrene, and a water-soluble nonionic or anionic prepolymer in aqueous media and in the presence of a free-radical polymerization initiator.</p> |
