PURPOSE:To obtain a pure anthocyanin pigment, by mounting a pigment eluate obtained by mounting an acidic anthocyanin pigment of a resin adsorbent solution on a reversed phase adsorptive partition column. CONSTITUTION:An acidic anthocyanin pigment solution is mounted on a column packed with a resin absorbent [e.g., Amberlite XAD-2 (trademark)], washed with an aqueous solution (e.g., 0.5% aqueous trifluoroacetic acid solution) to remove the acid, and an eluent is mounted to obtain an eluate containing a large amount of a resin component and the pigment. This eluate is mounted on a reversed phase adsorptive partition column, washed with an aqueous solution (e.g., 2wt.% aqueous acetonitrile solution) to remove the resin component, the pigment is eluted with an eluent, and the obtained eluate is concentrated. |
