<p>The upright is of U-section, being partic. for a door frame, and having fixing devices in recesses in flanges on it pressing against the wall sides. An edge running in the lengthwise direction of the upright bears against a wall side. Each portion of a fixing device fitting in a recess has a portion running from the protruding flange to the body of the upright, and protruding outside the edge, being supported in the recess clear of the edge. Under external pressure this portion is moved towards the body and the flange. The upright can have portions extending towards each other, relatively sharp and forming anchoring hooks.</p> |
