PURPOSE: A discharge device of the storage battery is provided to safely and rapidly prevent the discharge of battery by comprising the switch section connected in a row to multiple parallel resistors and the control section to off the switch section. CONSTITUTION: The discharge device of the storage battery for safely and rapidly preventing the discharge of battery comprises the switch section having several switches connected in a row to apply current, the resistor section having multiple parallel resistors each coupled to the switches, respectively, and the control section having the alternative current supply source and the comparator to feedback and compare the current passed through the resistors with the constant current limit and to off the switch section when it is below determined reference current to stop the discharge of battery.
