<p>PURPOSE:To lower a cost of fixing the sensor to the protector for lighting equipment and ensure the safety and reliability by a method wherein a bendable curl segment is formed on an armoring case, and the protective sensor is fixed by means of a bent part of the curl segment. CONSTITUTION:The protector main body 6 comprising a core coil is housed in steps 2 of the armoring case 1 formed with the long curl segment 5. A top plate 9 is placed on the main body 6 with a notched part 11 being adjusted to a terminal 12 of the main body 6, curl segments of the case 1 being bent and pressure-contacted by the top plate to permit the main body 6 to be fixed. The long curl segment 5 is bent in -shape (or in Z-shape) at a section, and the protective sensor 13 of, for example, a thermistor or the like is thrusted in (or pressed by elasticity) in the bent curl segment 5 to be fixed. Thereby, the sensor 13 can be fitted in a low price because of a special fixing member being not used, and the safety and reliability can be raised.</p> |
