A spring- loaded double- ended check valve assembly is provided for use in the outlet chamber of a dispenser for spraying liquids. The entire assembly, including both ends and the spring, is made in one- piece and is mouldable from plastics material. The assembly includes a sinuous spring(17a) having opposite ends and a flat faced valve closure connected to one of the opposite ends of the spring and deployed transversely. A spin element comprises a flat plate and is deployed transversely w.r.t. the spring and is connected to the other of the opposite ends of the spring. An arched bridge connects the spin element to the other opposite end of the spring.
