PURPOSE:To enhance homogeneity of a heat accumulating material and to prevent separation of a solid phase from a liquid phase, by mixing as a homogenizing agent asbestos of apparent density <= a specified value, in a latent heat-type heat accumulating material prepared from an inorg. hydrous salt. CONSTITUTION:In a latent heat-type heat accumulating material prepared from an inorg. hydrous salt such as sodium sulfate decahydrate, about 0.5-10wt%, based on the heat accumulating material, asbestos of apparent density <=0.18g/ml, pref. 0.15-0.02g/ml, is mixed as a homogenizing material. Thus homogeneity of the heat accumulating material is enhanced and precipitation of a solid phase or a supercooling inhibitor in the solid-liquid phase of heat accumulating material is prevented, so that the heat accumulating material is prevented from performance lowering. |
