PURPOSE:To prevent useless consumption of an ink sheet, by a method wherein only rotation in a specific direction of a platen roller is transmitted to a winding means, rotation in the reverse direction transmitted to an ink sheet holding means, and an ink sheet is wound back even before a recording paper is pulled back by the reverse rotation of the platen roller. CONSTITUTION:Counterclockwise rotation of a friction gear 86 is transmitted to a friction pulley accompanying reverse rotation of a platen roller 72, and transmitted to one-way mechanisms 93, 94 via a timing belt 103. Then, it is transmitted to a winding back gear 65 of an ink sheet cassette 16 by actuation of the one-way mechanism 94, and a spool 52a is counterclockwise rotated. Therefore, an ink sheet 52 is wound back by a quantity corresponding to a pulling back quantity of a recording paper 54 owing to the platen roller 72. Since the one-way mechanism 93 slips, a spool 53 is besides, suitable tension is given the ink sheet 52 to prevent loosening and ruck from occurring. |
