PURPOSE:To obtain a rapid-acting cockroach expellent capable of producing excellent expellent effects for a long period, by combining boric acid with trichlorfon, preferably further adding a solidifying agent and solidifying the resultant blend. CONSTITUTION:An expellent, containing boric acid (waxy and lubricant boric acid and further boric acid compound, such as natroborocalcite, colemanite, priceite or hydroboracite, may be used) and trichlorfon, capable of exhibiting expellent effects over all the stages of larvae and imagoes of cockroaches and having extremely efficient with high practicability from the viewpoint of integrated control. A solidifying agent can be added to this composition and used as a solid pharmaceutical, such as tablet or granule, which is readily usable by general consumers and convenient. |
