PURPOSE:To prevent issuance of an erroneously prepared label, by a method wherein a label issuance is suspended resulting from uncoincidence of a label issuing operation form of an item data with a label issuing operation form by means of an operation designating switch. CONSTITUTION:Operation designating details of an operation designating switch, consisting of an operation change-over switch 30 and a stationary change-over switch 31, are stored in a memory. When item data are read out from an item data preset memory, having a preset part for information which designate the operation details, the operation designate information, simultaneously, are read out. When the operation designating information does not coincide with operation designate details of a memory storing the operation designate details, the label issuance, which is conducted based on item data being read out from the item data preset memory, is suspended. |
