PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trailing arm type suspension which can weld continuously at the fixed place between a torsion beam and arm member and in which the strength reliability at such fixed place is improved. SOLUTION: In a trailing arm type suspension A, having an arm along the front/rear direction at both ends 10a of the torsion beam 10 extending in a car width direction N2, in which the bush 13 for installing on a car body is provided in the front of the arm, while the spindle 12 for installing a wheel is provided in the rear of the arm, the torsion beam 10 is composed of a pipe material with a hollow section from both ends 10a over the intermediate part 10b and has an internally bent portion 10ba on the intermediate part 10b and also the rearside portion of the arm is formed by folding both ends 10a in the rearside direction and the frontside portion of the arm is composed of an arm member 11 welded to the outside near both ends 10a of the torsion beam 10.
