PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping off device of a black, in which the sticking situation of a wiper member to the surface of the black board and the development of the wear of the wiper member, the surface of the black or the like can be avoided. SOLUTION: A wiping off member 230 and wiper members loaded on a moving base 201, which moves laterally on a black board, are assembled on a movable member 222b, which rocks by the clockwise and counterclockwise rotations of eccentric shafts 221L and 221R. Through the rocking motion of the movable member 222b, the wiping off member 230 and the wiper members 240 are attach able to and detach able from the surface 111 of the black board. Except a wiping off work for erasng the written items on the surface 111 of the black board, the wiping off member 230 and the wiper member 240 are separated from the surface 111 of the black board.
