PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an area for installation and to minimize rising of a temperature of a housing due to high density. SOLUTION: This printer comprises a printer body 20 having a head 52 for forming a predetermined image on a print paper P in accordance with image information and a paper supplying unit 60 for supplying the print paper P to the head 52. The printer body 20 is formed to be flat and is equipped with an opening section 22 for loading a paper containing unit 60 to a main face 21 and a discharge opening 25 for discharging the print paper P having an image printed thereon to the external section of the printer body 20.
