摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize a structure and enhance a straightness of cut parts of a recording material although a mechanism which cuts the recording material with the use of the whole of a cutter edge to elongate a life of the cutter edge is set. SOLUTION: At a cutting start time point, a cutting depth of a cutter edge 130 is largest, so that a recording material 113 is cut in the vicinity of a root. When the whole of a cutter unit 112 moves in a C direction while a holding member 123 is pressed in contact with a bumpy face of a bumpy part 132, a cutter holder 122 is gradually raised upward and the cutter edge 130 is gradually reduced in the cutting depth to the recording material 113. When the cutter unit reaches the center of the bumpy part 132 formed high at the center, a height of the cutter holder 122 becomes maximum and the cutting depth of the cutter edge 130 becomes minimum, whereby the recording material 113 is cut by the cutter edge 130 in the vicinity of a leading end. When the cutter unit advances further rightward, the amount of cutting of the cutter edge gradually increases again.
