Support cage for keeping open a bag, carrier bag, sack etc. while it is being filled, which cage has at the top on a cage-wall section 5 a horizontal fixing carrier strip 7, while at its lower part flaps 8-10 have been mounted whose upper edge forms a horizontal carrier strip 11-13 basically level with the fixing carrier strip 7. Over all carrier strips, an edge section of the opening of the bag, carrier bag, sack etc. 18 inserted into the cage is folded round, and the opening is kept open by the flaps 8-10, actuated by springs 14-16, swinging radially outwards relative to the central axis of the cage. <IMAGE> |
