PURPOSE:To correct the positions of polarized capacitors so that the polarities are aligned in proper order, and automatically insert them into a capacitance measuring apparatus by a method wherein polarized capacitors are held to detect polarities, and a pickup is given a half turn according to need. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus comprises a capacitor feeder A which sends out polarized capacitors in a row at given intervals along a leading path from a parts feeder, an inspection apparatus B which inspects the directions of the polarities of the polarized capacitors, a capacitance measuring conveyor C which transfers the capacitor to be measured in capacitance to a measuring apparatus for the capacitance of the capacitor while holding the capacitor in the correct position, a transfer apparatus D which extends among said apparatus A, B and C and moves the capacitors and a driving apparatus E. When the polarities of the capacitor 1 set to the apparatus B are opposite to those of the others, the apparatus D drives a rack 60 and gives a pickup head 53 a 180 deg. turn in order to correct the alignment of the polarities of the capacitor 1. |
