Foamable mixtures are described which are based on a plastic and, in addition to an organic, chemical blowing agent, contain an organotin oxide or alkoxide of formula I or mixtures or hydration or polymerisation products thereof, RnSnX4-n (I> in which n is the number 1 or 2, R is identical or different aryl, arylalkyl, cycloalkyl and/or aliphatic radicals, and X is an equivalent of oxygen or the OR' group, in which R', independently of R, has the same meaning as R, where the compounds or mixtures of formula I may also be dimers, oligomers or polymers of organotin oxygen compounds, and/or also contain hydroxyl groups bonded to tin. These mixtures are used for the preparation of foams, for example by injection moulding. |
