PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device which has a less measurement error, by a method wherein a driving motor for turning a measuring part having a contact member, whose rotation radius is adjustable, is mounted at the inside of a device body. CONSTITUTION:A concavity in a shank part 1 engages a convexity on a driving part 4 through a connection plates 8 and 10, and the rotation from a motor in the driving part 4 is transmitted to a rotary shaft 5 through gears g0 and g1. A slide frame 19 is secured on the end of the rotary shaft 5, and the slide frame 19 slidably engages a slide plate 22 provided with a head 25. Through the driving of an adjusting screw 23, a contact member 30, situated at the end of a casing head 25, is brought into contact with an object to be measured. A detecting signal resulting from rocking of the contact member 30 is transmitted to a data processor (not shown) through a cord 31 and a brush 35, and this permits the lowering of the measurement error. |
