COATING DEVICE FOR INNER-PERIPHERAL SURFACE OF PUNCHED HOLE OF RESIN-COATED METAL PLATE

PURPOSE:To coat the metal exposed on the inner-peripheral surface of the punched hole with resin by melting resin located on the peripheral edge of the punched hole by heating and fixing the same thereon under pressure by means of male and female dies. CONSTITUTION:The resin-coated metal plate 9 is set on the cooling plate 7' of the female die B and the punched hole 12 is made to face the concave part 3b' of the resistor 3'. Then, resistors 3 and 3' are heated above the melting point of resin 11 by electrification between electrodes 2 and 2' and the male die A is fixed with pressure to the female die B. Thereupon the resin-coated metal plate 9 is held tightly by two cooling plates 7 and 7' and the projected part 3b of the resistor 3, penetrating the punched hole 12, is put in the concave part 3b' of the resistor 3'. By this, a part of the resin 11 contacting with the lower surface 3a and the upper surface 3a' of the resistors 3 and 3' is melted by heating and the part 11a (a swelling part) of the resin 11 melted by the tightly-holding force of the cooling plates 7 and 7' is made to flow into a part 10a (an exposed part) of the metal plate 10. Thereafter electrification is discontinued and thereby the resin 11 is cured.
