PURPOSE:To simplify the steps of manufacturing a commutator for a flat motor without necessity of a special jig by forming radial slits at a plate material, then bonding a prepreg sheet thereto, punching the inner and the outer peripherys of the plate material and eventually beinding the inner periphery to form a connecting terminal. CONSTITUTION:Radial slits A of the number corresponding to the number of the segments are formed at an equal angle at a plate material 1 made of copper or the like. Then, slits B of the same number as the slits A are simultaneously formed at the inner peripheral part of the slits A among the slits A, and resin reservoirs C are formed at the outer peripheral part of the slits A. Then, a prepreg sheet 2 is bonded to the plate material 1 except only the inner peripheral part. Thereafter, the inner and the outer peripheries of the commutator are punched from the plate material, the inner peripheral part is further bent perpendicularly to form a connecting part to the armature coil, and a commutator of flat disc shape is manufactured. The slits B are used as inserting ports for connecting the coil terminal. |
