PURPOSE:To prevent a car from careless start, by bringing an ignition circuit in the operating condition by operating a brake lever, and by holding the circuit in the operating condition by complete combustion of an engine. CONSTITUTION:The electric current flows from a battery 16 to a relay coil through a switch 4, which is turned on by operating the brake lever 2. Accordingly, a switch 12 is turned off, while a switch 14 is turned on. The ignition circuit is turned in the operating condition by the switch 12 turned off. By the switch 14 turned on, the relay coil 13 is self-held after the engine is completely exploded. The number 18 shown in the diagram is the brake lamp. By this device, the ignition circuit is not actuated, if the engine is revolved in high speed by the starting operation leaving the brake lever in the unoperating condition, therefore, the car is prevented from careless starting. |
