PURPOSE:To make the repeating transmission line efficient, by removing the dummy code train in an input stage of a repeating system and by inserting it in the output of the repeating system, in the repeating transmission of a digital facsimile signal. CONSTITUTION:An output code train of digital redundancy suppression facsimile terminal 1, which outputs the digital facsimile signal with suppressed redundancy, has the dummy code train removed by repeating system input terminal station 2 and is input to transmission line 3. The dummy code train is inserted to the code train, which is transmitted through transmission line 3, at repeating system output terminal 4, and this code train is transmitted to digital redundancy suppressing facsimile terminal 5. Consequently, the number of bits occupied by one terminal on the transmission line between the transmission and receiving repeating systems is made smaller than the number of terminal output bits, so that effective transmission is completed. |
