Wind-driven power plant comprises at least one rotor(1) having a gyration axis(3), a base carrier(7) pivotable on the base about an upstanding axis. A support structure(4) pivots on the carrier about a tilt axis(4')-(4") in a manner permitting precession of the rotor, which is rotatably supported by the support and rotatable about the gyration axis(3). An adjusting device pivots the carrier on the base in response to changes in horizontal wind direction. A setting device exerts torque directly or indirectly on the rotor gyration axis or on the rotor which has a torque vector component extending perpendicularly to the rotor gyration axis.
