<p>In a sail multiple hull boat, the strains from aerodynamic and hydrodynamic forces must, preferably, be separated from each other. Preferably, the connection between the hulls (2) is achieved by a membrane coupling which features a high elasticity within different planes. Further, the sail and all elements required for its control are fixed exclusively to the carrier girder (1) and are independent of the hulls (2); preferably, a hinged bowsprit is provided. Further, a height adjustable center board, arranged in the middle and on the lower side of the carrier girder, improves the stability of the floating arrangement. </p> |
