<p>PURPOSE:To increase the size of the device by the construction in which lead-clad heat pipes are passed through the partition pipe plate provided roughly in the central part in a casing and the lead-clad heat pipes are supported by supporting pipe plates by leaving suitable intervals. CONSTITUTION:The sulfur-contg. high-temp. waste gas exhausted from a boiler 1 flows through a flue 2 into the high-temp. gas flow section 4 of a white smoke preventing device 3 and is cooled by giving heat to the endothermic side 13 of lead-clad heat pipes 12. The waste gas after the cooling is conducted into a wet type desulfurization plant 5, where it undergoes desulfurization treatment by the gas-liquid contact with absorbing liquid. The treated gas after the desulfurization contg. steam in the state close to saturation is introduced into a low-temp. gas flow section 6, where it contacts the heat radiation side 15 of the heat pipes 12 and is heated to about 80-100 deg.C, after which it is released into the atmosphere through a chimney 7.</p> |
