The filter paper magazine from which the filter papers are supplied to the brewing mechanism via a supply mechanism comprises a web of filter paper wound up into a roll. The supply mechanism comprises a housing with an axle rotatably holding the roll, a drivable winding mechanism for the free end of the paper web and two deflector mechanisms. The paper is guided horizontally between the deflector mechanisms. The supply and removal of the filter paper is merely by pulling the web from the supply roll onto the wind-up mechanism without complicated components.
