The solenoid valve has its armature lying in a magnetic circuit comprising at least one electromagnet and at least one permanent magnet. The armature either rocks or rotates and forms two air gaps that change their widths in opposite senses as the armature moves. The gaps are in series w.r.t. the magnetic flux from the electromagnet. Each permanent magnet lies outside the magnetic circuit of the electromagnet, which is closed via the armature. The sum of the widths of the two air gaps at both end-positions of the armature is constant. The advantage lies in smallness, low power and versatility.
|
