<p>Powdered coating compsns. applied electrostatically on electrically conductive articles contain, by wt. 60-90 wt.% Zn dust extruded with the thermosetting binder-contg. compsn. and at least 2-25% Zn dust admixed to the ground extrudate. The compsns. can contain mixts. of different thermosetting binders. Thermoplastics can also be added. The compsns. can contain standard additives, e.g. pigments, partic. 0.1-8% Al powder. Binder particle size may be 10-150 mu. Pigment particle size is below 20 mu. Active corrosion-protective film properties are achieved.</p> |
