LOAD CARRYING DECKS

A fold away deck for the interior of a container is comprised of inner and outer deck portions 13 and 11 which can be pivoted between a vertical position at one side of the container and a horizontal position across the container where they act as a deck. A flap 53 within one deck portion can be pivoted between a position where it forms part of the deck surface and a position where it exposes a buffer 67 on its underside to protect articles within the container against damage.
