<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water hammer phenomenon preventing device capable of being installed in a narrow space in a simple structure and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This water hammer phenomenon preventing device comprises a pressure control duct 11 communicated to a negative pressure generating place of a water supply pipeline 3, a restrictor 13 for adjusting a water flow-in amount into the pressure regulating pipeline 11, and a pressure regulation body 12 that is disposed inside the pressure regulating pipeline 11 and elastically deforms in response to pressure of the water flowing from the restrictor 13. Thus, when a negative pressure occurs at the emergency stop time or the like of a water conveying pump 4, pressure for pressing the pressure regulating body 12 decreases, water around the pressure regulating body 12 is supplied to the water supply pipeline 3, and generation of the water hammer phenomenon can be prevented in a simple and inexpensive structure.</p> |
