<p>The accessory is for the removal of cut blanks, during the punching of multi-layered material, esp. paper. The inner section of the punching blade (1), opposite to the blade edge (2), which is formed by the tool retainer plate (3), contains a membrane (5), which may be expanded by a pressure medium, esp. compressed air.S The membrane is fastened to the retainer plate, via a frame (6), so that the plate forms one wall of the hollow, which is enclosed by the membrane. The shape of the frame corresponds to the punching blade. To reduce flexibility, the membrane may consist of thickened material, or of several layers.</p> |
