<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a galvannealed steel sheet excellent in plating adhesion and suitable for use as a rustproof steel sheet of automobile body, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the steel sheet, the index of residual strain (the half-width of the diffraction peak by the CoΚαline at the plane) at the surface of a steel sheet as a basis material under a plating layer applied at least to one side satisfies the following inequality: 0.1<=ε(110)+ε(200)+ε(211)}/3<=0.7, whereε(110),ε(200) andε(211) represent respective half-widths (degrees) at crystal planes (110), (200) and (211). This steel sheet can be manufactured, e.g. by applying temper rolling at 1-<10% draft to a hot rolled or cold rolled steel sheet.</p> |
