PRODUCTION OF CHLOROPRENE

摘要

The reaction rate can be increased when continuously dehydrochlorinating 3,4-dichlorobutene-1 to give chloroprene in a two phase C3-C4 alkanol/water reaction medium at low temperatures by the addition of the quaternary ammonium compounds without the loss of quaternary ammonium compound in the aqueous effluent being such as to require recovery or recycle of the compound.
